Festival City Wines & Food Melbourne (formally Gollars)

Gollars Wine & Spirits Pty Ltd was formally known as J.J.Goller & Co P/L and was established in 1855 in the Victorian country town of Ballarat.

It has been a Wholesale Liquor Merchant for all of those 153 Years. In 1979 Bruno and Carla Rabottini bought Gollars and shifted the family to Ballarat.

The Rabottini's have been running Gollars now for almost 30 years and in that time have moved from a couple of premises until finally deciding to build their own warehouse on the Western Highway Deer Park.

Gollars Wine & Spirits Pty Ltd is another example of a family business that takes pride in looking after its customer base and treats each customer as a Customer and not as a number.

In March 2008 Gollars Wines & Spirits was purchased by Festival City Wines & Spirits Pty Ltd, an Adelaide based business. There are many similarities between the two companies. Both are privately owned, have been owned by the current owners for 30 years and run by families that have dedicated themselves to providing customers with great products and service for many years.

Whilst Bruno and Carla have moved on to enjoy their well deserved retirement. the rest of the family - Enzo, Pat and Dee will continue to work in the business. The new owners are delighted that they have retained the entire Gollars team.

The business model will change by adding a extensive food range to offer our customers a one stop shop solution. We will concentrate on delivering you with excellent value for money with products that are unique and exclusive.
